We've got about fifty shades of gray in this outfit

So this is a drawing of what my character?Trainer?Avatar? in Pokemon Y currently looks like.
Since there's so many outfits to choose from, I change mine pretty much every day but I have a few favorite outfits, like this one!

And while I originally didn't like my hair in anything except the default long style, once I was bored and got the ponytail and it grew on me. So now my Trainer pretty much always has a ponytail.

My outfit is, if you're curious, from top to bottom as follows:
White sunglasses
Gray felt hat
Gray tie-neck blouse
Gray plaid pleated skirt
Black knee-high socks
Black bow shoes
(+ Black strappy purse: not shown)

Most of those I got at the classy as heck boutique in Lumiose. (I think those are the names more or less)

And I posted this on Tumblr, but I'll share it here too:
My art resolution for 2014 is to work on coloring, because I've pretty much done the same coloring thing ever since I first started digital art. I want to work with bright colors and pale colors and too many colors and limited colors, etc.

So that's why this drawing has wacky shading and a white line around the lineart. I wanted to try something new.

Man I really need to work on not drawing faces in 3/4 view. Ever since I figured it out it's basically all I do. And now I see this drawing would have worked better if her left leg was bent. Augh.

She's ready for battle and her Protean Greninja is gonna wreck your shit man.
