Hug!

So Pearl really needs a hug, and I can't hug her myself, but luckily I have the ability to draw Steven doing it for me.
Also combined with the fact that it's confirmed he's ridiculously strong for his age, so I think he'd easily be able to lift her right off her feet (how much do Gems even weigh??). Heh.

The original sketch for this I did while I was in Martinique, and started coloring it a couple of weeks ago. Finally got around to finishing it today (the flats were done but I needed to shade it).

Another daily drawing challenge thing, this time using a tutorial on line of action. I wanted the hug to seem more "in the moment" instead of just flat.

Also, overlay layers. They are my best friend for unifying colors. I love them.
